ZAKE'S TALL & ROCK PIECES TOGETHER
ZAKE PICTURED MAY 2026 ECONOMY, IN
In the digital age, it can feel like you know someone without ever officially meeting. About 5 years ago, through algorithmic connection and limited distance, a user by the name of 'CampZake' caught my attention.
As a last ditch effort to find the subculture of artists around me - I followed Zake on insta.
Attending Ball State is a unique experience, you are promised the world of high art and often met with it - but you will likely encounter traditional midwest students as you leave your enclave.
Something about this environment makes for a beautiful juxtaposition. The simplicity of others makes true artists stand out.
The queer overtones that expelled like pheremones from Zake's art reminded me I was in the right place. Despite never officially meeting while in school, Zake stayed refreshed in my feed and memory.
Authenticity sticks out and is more impressive than superficiality in my book. With posts reflecting the struggle of being a waiter, all while creating multimedia as an accomplished art graduate - I knew the tides would change.
While Zake hasn't had his financial break through by selling his art just yet, his ability to create Goliath sized collections of sensuality has already arrived.
While I don't have the space for a gallery show, I am thrilled to help Zake get his work in the proper hands.
Located in Indiana - prices and measurements are listed below each piece. Pickup / Delivery to be coordinated with Zake as well as negotiations.

Q&A with Zake
-----------------------
What inspires you the most?
"Change and transformation being unavoidable and inevitable. When I think of the big questions of my life it always goes to who am I now, who will I be?"
What do you hope to convey?
"I aim to show that there are at least two versions of a person. A version begging to grow but sometimes feels lost, and an idealized version that has it figured out and will be a fierce protector to the self that is still figuring it out. When those entities start to meet is when you can have unbridled hope that things are going how they are supposed to."

Where would you like to see your work displayed?
"One of these days my work will be in the Kavi Gupta Gallery. Kavi Gupta is the first gallery where I saw my aesthetic and conceptual themes conceptualized by resident artists such as Devan Shimoyama and Arghavan Khosravi. After 4 years I finally had the chance to experience the gallery in person April 2026."
Advice to fellow artists?
"If you grew up at all similar to me, you felt misrepresented or misunderstood. Art is where you get to put your mind and spirit into something and materialize the way you think. If you don’t see yourself, add yourself unapologetically."
