Evan Hirsch
GLAM to NYFW

February 13 2026 - Tribeca

Upon entering the Evan Hirsch show, it was obvious the room was excited. Guests were smiling and enjoying the living art, all while inside the Friedrichs Pontone art gallery. You immediately see a woman adorned with pearls creating both a corset and drapery, Hirsch knows how to create visual drama.

This entrance sets the tone for a promising evening. Upon closer inspection, you realize each garment is next to a small placard of its origin story. One of the many details that sets this young designer apart.

Not only has he appeared on many television shows, but his current collection is in collaboration with ShopGoodwill.com

As you go further into the gallery space, a model with a shiny rhinestone top and equally appropriate makeup shines.

When you examine the outfit more, you see the billowed sleeves and laced through look. The detail in rhinestoning is very intricate.

Hirsch also created a menswear look that I would pay high dollar for. Inspired by Tetris, you can't miss the colors on this one. There is also a cape with an interesting story.
The cape that you can see on the above model isn't a first for Hirsch, it is a continuation of a style he perfected long ago.

While venturing through the venue and mingling with kind guests and an Aperol spritz or two,  I noticed two younger kids wearing a strikingly similar design. Turns out, these capes have been a gift to family and friends as Evan grew up practicing his sewing.

These are the precious moments that make you realize fashion is often more meaningful than given credit. Another moment reminding you why Hersch's first CFDA schedule show was a must!
A strikingly beautiful woman with an equally impressive outfit donning flowers and pink sequins. The rich shade of pink contrasted against a dark suit color for the top creates a grandeur - highlighted by the length of the gown. Notice the shoulders and the swirl pattern, one more flair of elegance for the camera flash. Be sure to check out the pink lashes as well!
With a continued play into the love of color - there is a joyous outfit hand painted. It features a predominant sign saying "PAINTED BY THE STUDENTS OF ART STRONG NYC". Students had an art class weekly to perfect the details while learning about the possibilities of creation.

I find this entire collection to be a celebration :) Not to mention, Evan was a total sweetheart!
Here we see Evan meeting recording artist Sorana. You can also see a low cut emerald green gown. I was intrigued by the hanging embellishments, reminiscent of a bygone era.
I wouldn't have wanted to leave without getting a picture with the one behind all of the magic. Thanks Evan!

xoxo, Scout
